網(wǎng)蝽科(Tingidae)包括微小至小型的昆蟲,體長一般為3.0-4.0mm,,最大者可達7.0mm,,小者只有2.0mm;因其頭胸背面,、前胸背板和翅上有許多網(wǎng)狀花紋而得名“網(wǎng)蝽”,。該類昆蟲體小,肉眼不易觀察,,顯微鏡下觀察可見其獨特的美麗,。
中國科學(xué)院新疆生態(tài)與地理研究所羅朝輝博士與俄羅斯專家Dr. Golub和Dr. Vinokurov合作研究發(fā)現(xiàn)網(wǎng)蝽科昆蟲—Kalama wangi sp. n.,并作為新種在國際動物學(xué)刊物《動物分類學(xué)》(Zootaxa)上發(fā)表,。
截至2012年12月,,羅朝輝及兩名外國專家在“中科院特聘研究員計劃項目”(2010T2Z31)、國家自然基金項目(No.30825006)的資助下,,共發(fā)現(xiàn)新疆網(wǎng)蝽科昆蟲12屬34種,,其中11種為中國新紀(jì)錄,10種為新疆新紀(jì)錄,,以及新種Kalama wangi sp. n.新種,。關(guān)于新疆網(wǎng)蝽科昆蟲的系統(tǒng)研究,填補了新疆網(wǎng)蝽科分類研究空白,,在探討網(wǎng)蝽科昆蟲的生物地理方面具有極為重要的意義,,也是我國乃至古北區(qū)昆蟲區(qū)系研究的一大重要進展,。(生物谷Bioon.com)

Studies of True Bugs of Xinjiang, Western China. II. Cimicomorpha: Lace Bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Tingidae: Tinginae)

34 species from 12 genera of lace bugs occur in the fauna of Western China; of them, 11 and 10 species are recorded for the first time from China and Xinjiang, respectively. Kalama wangi sp. n. is described. Kalama aridula (Jakovlev, 1902) is closely related to K. tricornis (Schrank, 1801), and is restored as a good species; morphological differences between these two species are discussed. A key to Central Asian species of the genus Catoplatus Spinola, 1837 is constructed.
