摘 要: 極端嗜酸性專(zhuān)性化能自養(yǎng)硫細(xì)菌具有獨(dú)特的生理特性, 在農(nóng)業(yè),、細(xì)菌冶金,、含硫廢水處理以及環(huán)境保護(hù)等方面發(fā)揮著重要作用, 但這類(lèi)細(xì)菌在其特殊能源缺乏時(shí)不能代謝有機(jī)質(zhì), 生長(zhǎng)緩慢, 代時(shí)長(zhǎng), 細(xì)胞得率低, 限制了它在實(shí)際生產(chǎn)中的應(yīng)用效率。對(duì)其進(jìn)行遺傳改造, 構(gòu)建能夠利用有機(jī)質(zhì)快速生長(zhǎng)的基因工程菌, 將為這類(lèi)細(xì)菌的工業(yè)化應(yīng)用提供一條可行的途徑,。主要對(duì)極端嗜酸性專(zhuān)性化能自養(yǎng)硫細(xì)菌有機(jī)質(zhì)代謝的研究進(jìn)展進(jìn)行了綜述, 其中包括有機(jī)化合物的抑制作用,、有機(jī)化合物的有限利用,、中心代謝途徑及物質(zhì)的轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)等, 還包括專(zhuān)性化能自養(yǎng)硫細(xì)菌有機(jī)質(zhì)代謝遺傳改造研究的最新進(jìn)展。

Metabolism of Organic Compounds by Extremely Acidophilic, Obligately Chemolithoautotrophic Thiobacilli-a review

Abstract: The extremely acidophilic, obligately chemolithoautotrophic thiobacilli can obtain energy from the chemolithotrophic oxidation of inorganic-sulphur. They have industrial applications in metal leaching, desulfurization from coal and oil, agriculture, and environmental protection. However, their inability to use organic substance, their slow growth rate and low cell yield, has limited their further industrial use. The construction of engineered strains with better growth rate and improved ability to use organic com-pounds is important. In this paper, the inhibition of growth by organic compounds, limited use of organic compounds, central meta-bolic pathways, and transport mechanism of the extremely acidophilic obligately chemolithoautotrophic thiobacilli are reviewed, as well as the current research progress in their genetic modification to use organic compounds.
