近日,,中國(guó)科學(xué)院武漢物理與數(shù)學(xué)研究所雷皓研究員小組與上海交大仁濟(jì)醫(yī)院,、上海精神衛(wèi)生中心合作,,利用磁共振成像方法研究了青少年網(wǎng)癮患者腦結(jié)構(gòu)的改變,相關(guān)結(jié)果被PLoS One雜志接收,,并進(jìn)行專(zhuān)文推介,。
網(wǎng)癮作為一種嚴(yán)重影響青少年身心健康的疾病,正越來(lái)越受到社會(huì)大眾和研究人員的重視,。物質(zhì)依賴(lài),、成癮的形成與神經(jīng)可塑性改變密切相關(guān)。青少年期是大腦控制與執(zhí)行功能發(fā)育的關(guān)鍵時(shí)期,,研究青少年網(wǎng)癮相關(guān)的腦結(jié)構(gòu)與功能的可塑性改變對(duì)于深入認(rèn)識(shí)該疾病的發(fā)病機(jī)制和探索治療/康復(fù)方案具有重要意義,。
該研究運(yùn)用基于纖維束的空間統(tǒng)計(jì)方法,對(duì)青少年網(wǎng)癮患者的腦擴(kuò)散張量圖像進(jìn)行了分析,。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),,患者大腦一些白質(zhì)纖維束(包括胼胝體、外囊,、內(nèi)囊,、輻射冠、扣帶等區(qū)域)的微觀(guān)結(jié)構(gòu)出現(xiàn)損傷,。更重要的是,,研究發(fā)現(xiàn)網(wǎng)癮患者左側(cè)胼胝體膝部損傷程度與其焦慮程度顯著相關(guān)。此外,,網(wǎng)癮患者內(nèi)囊,、外囊白質(zhì)損傷的模式與鴉片依賴(lài)患者非常類(lèi)似,且左側(cè)外囊損傷程度與患者網(wǎng)癮嚴(yán)重程度顯著相關(guān),。
該研究結(jié)果提示:網(wǎng)癮的神經(jīng)機(jī)制之一是大腦執(zhí)行與控制功能的損傷,。
該研究組及其合作者還運(yùn)用基于體素的形態(tài)學(xué)方法,,分析了青少年網(wǎng)癮患者大腦灰質(zhì)體積的變化,發(fā)現(xiàn)其左側(cè)舌回,、后扣帶皮質(zhì),、前丘腦、左側(cè)島葉和前扣帶皮質(zhì)等區(qū)域存在顯著萎縮,。該結(jié)果發(fā)表在《歐洲放射學(xué)雜志》(European Journal of Radiology 2011, 79: 92-95)上,。
以上結(jié)果顯示,青少年網(wǎng)癮患者大腦灰質(zhì),、白質(zhì)均出現(xiàn)了結(jié)構(gòu)性改變,,且這種改變主要偏向于負(fù)責(zé)邏輯理解、判斷,、推理的左側(cè)半腦,。這些研究成果為青少年網(wǎng)癮的臨床診斷和治療提供了重要的理論依據(jù)。

Gray matter abnormalities in Internet addiction: A voxel-based morphometry study

Abstract
Background
This study aims to investigate brain gray matter density (GMD) changes in adolescents with Internet addiction (IA) using voxel-based morphometry (VBM) analysis on high-resolution T1-weighted structural magnetic resonance images.
Methods
Eighteen IA adolescents and 15 age- and gender-matched healthy controls took part in this study. High-resolution T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging scans were performed on the two groups. VBM analysis was used to compare the GMD between the two groups.
Results
Compared with healthy controls, IA adolescents had lower GMD in the left anterior cingulate cortex, left posterior cingulate cortex, left insula, and left lingual gyrus.
Conclusions
Our findings suggested that brain structural changes were present in IA adolescents, and this finding may provide a new insight into the pathogenesis of IA.
