針葉櫻桃(Acerola cherry)是金虎尾科(Malpighiaceae)金虎尾屬(Malpighia)凹緣金虎尾(M. emarginata)的果實。早在1946年發(fā)現(xiàn)其果實富含維生素C,,含量可達(dá)4000毫克/100克,,是名符其實的“天然維生素C之王”,。
中國科學(xué)院昆明植物研究所邱明華研究組,受安利(中國)技術(shù)公司的委托,,對針葉櫻桃的化學(xué)成分進行深入研究,,發(fā)現(xiàn)3個結(jié)構(gòu)新穎的降木栓酮三萜天然產(chǎn)物(命名為Norfriedelins A-C)。主要的結(jié)構(gòu)特征是A環(huán)氧化開環(huán)后,,脫羧,,分別失去1個碳,2個碳,,3個碳的降三萜,,其中化合物1形成獨特的四元環(huán)內(nèi)酯,化合物2則形成五元環(huán)內(nèi)酯,。通過現(xiàn)代波譜分析技術(shù)和X-Ray單晶衍射確定了這些新奇結(jié)構(gòu)的絕對構(gòu)型。
十分有趣的是:具有內(nèi)酯環(huán)酮的新穎結(jié)構(gòu)Norfriedelins A和B顯示抑制乙酰膽堿酯酶(Acetylcholinesterase)的活性,,IC50分別為10.3 和 28.7 μM,,預(yù)示著針葉櫻桃不僅是“天然維生素C之王”,還會具有預(yù)防老年癡呆等方面的保健作用,。這一研究成果最近發(fā)表在Organic Letters,,2013,15(7):1580- 1583,。(生物谷Bioon.com)

Norfriedelins A–C with Acetylcholinesterase Inhibitory Activity from Acerola Tree (Malpighia emarginata)

Three novel norfriedelanes, A–C (1–3), were isolated from the branches and roots of Malpighia emarginata.
